Ingredients
BACON CHEESEBURGER BITES
- 3oz cheddar cheese (block)
- 1 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 bags Quest Cheese Crackers, crushed
- 4 strips bacon, crumbled
- 14 sandwich pickles
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400 F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cheese into 14 evenly sized cubes.
- In a bowl, combine the beef, salt, pepper, egg, crackers and bacon.
- Make 14 evenly sized balls and make a divot into the center of each.
- Add a cube of cheese and form the beef around the cheese and roll back into a ball and then place them onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, top with pickles and a toothpick. Serve with ketchup or mustard.
